I have 1gb G Skill (actual description): F2-6400CL4S-1GBPK
I am interested in obtaining 4gb of the same G Skill, accordingly, to my motherboard, as listed below, will function properly (hopefully) w/duel channel recognition, if installed memory is correctly suited in pairs.
My question is, based on the research and having bought 2 different modules that wern't as compatible w/my mobo and even on the last 2gb I returned, proved to be slower than the 1gb of G Skill. It was Kingston and I purchased w/recommended match up, per my mobo specs, etc...
The memory that may prove to be good for my particular mobo/computer, is:
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL4D-4GBPK --
. . .and I would like to confirm or have input or comments, if possible, of if this may be ideal and a good choice, etc...
Thanks,
Lexjoe
