  • New build with 2x32GB 6000Mhz Ripjaws S5 kit

    Hello,

I have recently made a new build. I have the asrock z690 PG Velocita motherboard with the i7-13700k and 32x2Gb ripjaws s5 ddr5 ram kit (30-40-40-96). I've been having serious RAM instability issues (BOSD). Memtest86 and windows memory diagnostics show a bunch of errors when the ram is on xmp. When the ram is set to its base profile everything is ok. Reducing the ram speed to 5600Mhz seem to fix instability, (voltage increase didn't work).

    Any ideas? I don't like having a 5600mhz kit when i payed for a 6000Mhz kit.

Do you have the latest BIOS for the motherboard? Did you populate slots two and four away from the CPU?

Try one module at a time to see if each can be stable with XMP. If one performs differently, send them in for replacement.
