  • "Limited" lifetime warranty length - RAM...

    Hi,
I've got a question re. warranty length on RAM modules.

I have put an RMA claim in already, but can't find the actual length of time defined by 'Lifetime' on the site, or in a reply re. the warranty.

    I have 2 F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL modules (2x8GB).

One of them is faulty (MemTest returns errors at the same location each run). It could be the motherboard, but swapping them over causes the PC not to boot, suggesting that the module is the cause.

They are over 3 years old though (3 years, 1 month).

Would they be out of "lifetime" limited warranty?

    Thanks!

No, lifetime is really lifetime until you no longer need your computer.

Complete the RMA form online and we can send you new modules:

Wow - that's great.... the only problem I can see is that I have to send BOTH modules (working and non-working) to Taiwan from Aus, which will make my computer no longer work!
Thanks - i've got an RMA open, so will think about the best way to proceed.
