  • Sporadic BSOD stop 0x0000001A

    Hi,

sporadic (once per week) my System freezes with BSOD (Stop 0x0000001A).

once ntkrnlmp.exe caused the BSOD another time win32k.sys caused the BSOD.

    System:
MB: Asus P8Z68-V PRO Bios: 0501 (latest available Version)
    RAM: F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL
    CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 + current Windows Updates
Drivers are also the lasted onces

System is not overclocked memory is set to XMP Profile. Running Memtest86+ for 24 hours did not find any errors. also running Prime95 for 24 hours succeed without any error.

So are there incompatibilities between the memory and the mainboard? What else can cause this BSOD? What else can i check?

    Best Regards,
    mom20xx

Did you install Windows wish XMP enabled already? Very weird, maybe try reinstalling Windows again.

    Thank you

no I did not install windows with xmp enabled. I switched to xmp after the first BSOD. So I can try to reinstall windows.

In the default mainboard settings when everything was set to auto for Memory (also VDRAM) VDRAM was @ about 1,68V now with XMP settings this is @ about 1,52V

Good, enable XMP, reinstall Windows, then let us know how it goes.

        Thank you
