2030 killed my drive - boots then disappears

    Jut RMA'd

    I've had this failed drive for over six months now, just never seemed to get around to RMA - I hope the warranty can still be honoured (as I reported it here in June)
    Pulling things out and rmaing them is a pain !.

      they will let you know if you still under warranty or not.

          Well, my RMA was turned down as out of warranty due to I don't have the receipt - it was nowhere near two years since purchase , which the posting here in June pretty much confirmed anyway as that was when it started failing.

          Thanks for nothing g.skill. Why does anyone buy your products?

            G.SKILL had been inform that the Falcon II 2030 firmware need to be removed, not sure there's a firmware problem or what, still don't know yet! sorry for the inconvenient.

            Hi DisasterArea,
            if you contact with our RMA department, and you will know that we were not checking the receipt, the receipt will never be the requirement, we will check your warranty by the serial number to see if you still under warranty or not. if you were out of the warranty, you have to pay for the replacement.
