Got a technical problem?

Please provide the following information with any new post involving a technical issue with your G.Skill peripheral. This pertinent information will allow us to effectively troubleshoot and provide the best solution.

1) Software (SW) version and firmware (FW) version
2) Did this issue occur on a new software installation or software update?
3) What is the model number of your keyboard and layout? (e.g. KM780 RGB, NA English; etc.)
4) Which Windows OS version are you using? (e.g. Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit; Windows 10 Pro 64-bit; etc.)
5) Which USB port did you plug the keyboard into? (e.g. USB3.0 in motherboard back panel, USB2.0 hub, etc.)
6) Your motherboard model number
7) Any antivirus/anti-malware software programs you have installed
8) Any other keyboard/mouse/similar device software you have installed

  • Error installing software for keyboard

    I am downloading the software and when going through install keep getting these errors?

    An error occured while trying to replace existing file: Delete file failed: code 5
    access denied

    and Movefile failed: code 183

    Any idea why? I uninstalled, restarted and retried multiple times.

      Apologies, missed out on your thread. Which keyboard software are you trying to install?

      Please do make sure that your temporary cache is cleared out, so that previous files or conflicting files aren't interfering with the current installation. And make sure to extract the EXE file from the downloaded zip file before you install.

        Ok I have done that and its installed, but now I click it and nothing happens, it doesnt open or anything.

        Windows 10
        i7 7700k
        1080ti ect

        What is wrong with this program my corsair one is so simple. I am to the point I want to return this keyboard and get a different one if it doesnt work soon.

          We understand you are having trouble opening the keyboard software.

          Can you please let us know your keyboard model and the software version? This information would help us troubleshoot.

          In the meantime, please do check that if the keyboard has 2 USB connectors, then it's important to connect both USB connectors to the PC. Also, please do check that you have connected the USB connectors directly to the motherboard for sufficient power. If there isn't sufficient power going into the keyboard, then the system and software will not be able to detect the keyboard.
