Will the following ram kit work in my system:
Gskill: F2-6400CL6D-8GBSQ
I have a Toshiba X205 Sli1
Running Windows 7 64 Bit.
Intel DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo T7250, 2200 MHZ
Intel Crestline-PM965
Bios Type Phoenix 12/13/10
Dimm1 Samsung M4 70T2953EZ3-CE6 1 GB DDR2-667 DDR2 SDRAM (5-5-5-15 @ 333 MHz)
Dimm2 Samsung M4 70T2953EZ3-CE6 1 GB DDR2-667 DDR2 SDRAM (5-5-5-15 @ 333 MHz)
Front Side Bus Properties Intel AGTl+
Bus Width 64-Bit
Real Clock 200 MHz (QDR)
Effective clock 800 MHz
Bandwidth 6400 MB/s
Memory Bus Properties
Bus Type Dual DDR2 SDRAM
Bus Width 128-bit
DRAM:FSB Ratio 10:6
Real Clock 333 MHz (DDR)
Effective Clock 667 MHz
Will this kit be effective or will it run at the 5300 speed rather than the 6400. Will it be stable. I have read on newegg forums that the 8 chip rather than the 4 high density chip set up per dim is what I need but I want to verify first before buying. Please advise on what would be the best setup for my system to be able to run a 8gb memory setup.
Thanks,
Draconfier.
