  • [Trident]F3-12800CL6T-6GBTD X.M.P. and settings?

    Hello,

    My system will be:

    cpu core i7 2,67 GHz
    mb asus p6t deluxe v2
    power supply corsair hx-750
    hard drive seagate barracuda 7200.12
    graphics sapphire hd 4890
    and probably........ 6GB G.Skill memory PC12800 6-7-6-18 [Trident]F3-12800CL6T-6GBTD
    ...plus a G.Skill turbulence fan

Can someone confirm if this memory model has a X.M.P profile?

Any suggestions for BIOS settings (for the normal timings and speed) and for overclocking this memory?

    Best Regards,
    Gabriel

Thanks, but I have seen that one already, together with these other reviews:

      http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=230911
      http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/...-memory-runoff

I wonder if there is any "official review" out there for this kit. Strangely, I have never seen any reference to X.P.M at any seller or even at G.Skill?s site.

Like EPP, not all mobos provide support for XMP, so it's something that generally only OCers/gamers really look for. It makes OCing easier
