    Ok, so I want to buy the

    MSI 790FX-GD70

    and I want to put the
    F3-10666CL9D-4GBNQ

    Memory in it.

    I will also have the AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Processor

    Now before I buy this,
    Will it work WITHOUT having to configure the BIOS?

    This is just a guess, but I'd say maybe, and probably not. The mobo supports a range of CPUs, the power supply you chose and other components that go into the system will all play a part in whether the BIOS will need any adjusting (normally voltages).

    MSI or Gskill may be able to tell you whether in a Plain Jane setup if the components you've chosen will pair up and play nice, but there are a number of variables that can affect needed changes to the BIOS
