  • How to tell if Drive Needs RMA?

    Hi,

My system crashed a couple of times weirdly in what _felt_ like a hard drive problem. HDtune pro reports 1 error.

How can I tell if my drive needs an RMA?

Might try something like SSD-Life, which checks the health of your SSD, (doesn't work with RAID), can get free version here:

    http://ssd-life.com/

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

sometimes the firmware error will cause the crash, you can try to re-install the firmware, also you can clean the SSD by Parted Magic, it will save you some performance!

I ran a test with two programs, they both report the same bad block. If I re-install the firmware, and run the tests again, there's a chance it goes away?

I have a Falcon II 128gb, for some reason in device manager its says I have version 2030 firmware. Is this possible? I see this version for Falcon I only.

            Which firmware should I reinstall
