  • GsKill Falcon 128GB SSD stoped working with 2 years and 3 months

    Hi guys,

The lasts months I?ve been having some problems, wont boot, MBR disappears etc? I thought it was mobo, but yesterday BIOS is not recognicing the ssd. I tried in a laptop and seems to work, but when trying to install linux is giving Input/Output errors, can see there:

Now, today, its not working at all, and I've contacted gskill rma and it's out of warranty for 3 months... and they are NOT going to take care of it, the repair its 150$...

I tried to reflash the firmware, but still the same...any advice?

Thanks guys and be carefull with those falcons...

we are sorry, usually we will providing one more month of extended warranty for customer, however, G.SKILL will taking care of your replacement but there's a replacement charge if you out of the warranty. that's the only solution for replace.

      G.Skill Falcon 128GB SSD

      Howdy All

I also had a 2y and 4m old Falcon SSD and it is also dead. I contacted G.Skill and they advised that it ws out of warranty but they would fix it for $150.

I certainly did not get my 1 million man hours of servicability out of it.

Not happy with $500 purchase of a SSD

      Cheers
      Mick
