  • Phoenix Pro 120G dead ?

    Hy all,
I bought a G.Skill Phoenix Pro 120G SSD for 8 months, and the last week end when i want to start my laptop (HP probook 4720s), it was written :
non-system disk or disk error replace and strike any key when ready
The SSD is recognized in the BIOS, so i think my ssd is dead.

What do you advise me to do ?

    hi

try the SSD with other computer, if other computer can recognized the SSD, please secure erase the SSD and reinstall the firmware, if can not recognized, please send it back for RMA.

      Hi, thx for your answer.
I've tried the ssd on usb port (with external hdd), but on the same laptop, and it is not recognized. This evening i will try with another computer.

So, I've tried to connect the ssd on another computer with an external 2,5" hdd case, and it was the same problem :
The ssd isn't recognized, BUT the activity led was continuously flashing.
And i heard that the ssd had activity when i put it near my ear.

          What should I do ?

Ok, I've tried with another PC and with sata port.
The ssd isn't recognized in the BIOS.

So I think I have to RMA it.
I have already complete the RMA request Form, but I don't know what I have to write in Watts of power supply because I have a HP Probook 4720s and not a desktop PC.

              Can you help me ?
