  • Falcon II not detected as a boot device

Hi Gskill, my falcon II has been acting weird lately. After a few BSOD's from windows 7, the last restart caused this message to appear

    http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/u...1224623227.jpg

However, when I enter BIOS, the Falcon II is still detected, I switched boot devices priority from Falcon to my secondary data harddrive which is a Seagate 500gb, and funnily enough, windows booted fine (my pc is still loading the OS files properly off falcon II)

So I decided to start fresh again with the SSD by reinstalling windows 7 from scratch. Then on BIOS I placed the SSD as first boot device again and the error message pops up again, but if I put it on second place and first device being my normal HDD, everything loads up fine... assuming if I'd only use the SSD and no other drives I can never get it to boot even though I have installed Windows on it,

Is this a common error or a hardware fault? I am hoping I could fix this myself by wiping out the SSD or reflashing the firmware, please help!
At the moment everything still works as long as I use a secondary drive as primary and the BIOS will automatically boot up windows from the SSD...

    Hi,
please update the BIOS, also follow the steps to clean your SSD first and reinstall the firmware 1916, next upgrade to firmware 2030.

    1916 with clean function: http://www.gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=5172
    2030 : http://www.gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=6260
