  • How to clean and start over

I am sure this has been asked before... However, I am unable to find a relavant thread (please point me if you know it).

I am going to move my Gskill SSD from one machine to another. This will require a reinstallation of Windows 7. Is there a preferred method for wiping an ssd?

    Thanks in advance...

You Should use Parted Magic at the new PC

Depends on old and new system as well as your OS. If old and new are same mobo maker or if you use the Intel drivers for the SSD and are running an up to date copy of Win7 (i.e. all updates), chances are good you can easily move SSD and OS to a new system, would suggest documenting current drivers from old system so once the move is made you can clean them out if you want.
