Sniper won't update to 4.0?

I downloaded the new 4.0 firmware along with the installer. My current firmware is 3.2. When I do the install of 4.0, it goes through the process and then reboots the computer. Once I load back into windows, I pull up the installer program again to see if the update went through but it still shows the SSD as being 3.2. IS there anything special that I am supposed to do? Thanks

It's procedure is as the same as 3.2.
Could you try again?
Did you set to AHCI mode?

I tried it several times, each time the computer rebooted on it's own. Once it loaded back up, the program still reports it as 3.2. My bios doesn't have the option to switch to AHCI mode.

try updating firmware with ssd hooked up to another pc if possible, then take it back to your pc. that may work.
