I'm curious if there is diminishing returns on raid 0 in a triple array? I understand you can hit bandwidth bottle necks on the board controller with multiple drives, but not with 3 drives. My access time from double raid 0 to triple raid 0 increased(thus slower access time), and while my read/write did increase, it was significantly smaller increase than when I went from one SSD into a raid 0 to begin with. I have seen people link stuff with the intel ssds that got the expected increase in speeds from 2-3(running at 700+ mb/s). With 3 I'm at 640 mb/s. I have the proper drivers etc, so is gskill just that inferior to intel with their ssd's or any ideas on the subject?
