  • Long Load Pause

    Hello Everybody,

    I have installed my new 60GB Phoenix Pro and think I may be having a problem. The boot screens go screaming by and I go straight to the windows loading window, with the spinining logo. Once the logo is completed the circle the computer pauses for about 15 seconds prior to going to the log in screen. Once I select my profile windows comes right up and all other operation is great! Any ideas on this terrible pause?

    Thanks

    Specs are
    955 @ 3.72
    1333 DDR3 CL7
    Gagabyte 790fx-ud5 motherboard

    Have you read up on all the stuff you can do to optimize boots, drive, etc? I didn't have the same exact trouble but I have noticed way faster boots after taking steps to optimize.

    Right here on this forum;

    Another good link;

    In my case there was not one magic bullet but after implementing several, I could feel a big difference.

        Hello Admin

        Thanks for the reply,

        It's gotten better since another poster I spoke to recommended downloading some AMD drivers for the south bridge and the ACHI. Still a little slower than some of the stuff I've seen on You tube, but very much better.

        To answer your question it was everytime.

        Let me know if you have any other ideas!

        Thanks,

        Shane

          hi Shane799

          I think some hardware driver load and software pre-load cause this problem.
          actually it look like pretty good
