    Hi fastboy

    I am really sorry.
because the firmware is be made from manufacturer.
the only way I can figure out is upgrade on X86 PC system .
    then install in your MAC.
    please back up your data.

      Thank you for your reply.

From what you told me, I understand that a firmware upgrade is actually NOT possible, for the following reason:

      - The only way to install windows on a mac is through bootcamp (under OSX) which creates a NTFS partition than is used for the installation of Windows. Your instructions are saying to use a bootable USB stick BUT Mac hardware doesn't allow to boot from a USB device...and even if it would allow that, the firmware upgrade probably couldn't be done cause it would see 2 partitions (1 MAC and 1 Windows) and the upgrade would not continue.

So in short, there's no way to upgrade to a new firmware if your hard disk is installed in a Mac.
      Sad

        sorry mate

I can't provide you any help.
I have no idea how to solve your problem.
I ask somenoe more professional than me.
he told me even MAC can boot from USB and upgrade on dos mode.
        they frame are the same.
I don't know does it work because we don't have MAC.
        maybe you can try
