  • Is my Falcon 128gb Dying ?

Here is a benchmark of it.
    G.Skill Falcon 128gb (Trim firmware 1916)

I remember the SSD when i first got it, it just flat-lined. Now its alive, well it has quite a heart beat up until the 38gb point.

Nothing is running in the background either.

The read speeds also seem to be quite low, i remeber it being 200+

I always get these spikes, though generally they are worse (often dropping to <50mb/s) up until around the 38gb point

No AV running in the background, indexing, or anything else like that.

I used the clean util which came with the 19xx firmware.
      Upgraded it to 2030

(i was unable to get hdderase or gparted working on 4 different machines due to all the machines tested having the bios security features)

Exately the same performance. Except access time is now 0.2ms

Anything else i can try ?

        Hi tacoflavour

your falcon run perfect, Falcon II has the same access time as yours(I know your Falcon I).
if you install OS or some DATA in your SSD, the line will drop.
