    Griffyj, could you tell me your motherboard model name? i want to verify that if it's an incompatible issue?
    The Motherboard is a Asus Maximus Formula. I have not tried moving to a different sata port yet as I have not had time to try and flash it again.

    I have tried all of the above before with no luck flashing the firmware, I tried a couple of new sata cables today and tried all the sata ports and it still will not flash, . Have you got anymore ideas or is it time to RMA the drive. I have 2 more drives that are exactly the same and they flashed with no problems. 64GB-1 does not find the drive but 64GB-2 finds the drive and tries to flash it but comes back after a minute or so saying Flash Failed.
