  • error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk2\DR2

I've had alot of problems with these drives. I don't know if its b/c they are in RAID or what. I've had corrupt files in the past on a regular basis. I used HDDerase and reinstalled Win 7, that was about 4 months ago. I have been problem free (relatively speaking) untill now.

I just booted up for the first time today and as soon as the desktop showed up explorer.exe stopped responding and crashed. it would restart and do it again. It took about 4 times but i was able to make it to the event viewer and i get a list of these:

    Log Name: System
    Source: Disk
    Date: 9/8/2010 3:58:57 PM
    Event ID: 51
    Task Category: None
    Level: Warning
    Keywords: Classic
    User: N/A
    Computer: HoltonDesktop
    Description:
An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk2\DR2 during a paging operation.

I did move my page file to the 3rd drive (platter) a while back but moved ti back to the raid drive shortly thereafter.

Has anyone else seen a problem like this? Is this a sign of a drive failing? Any ideas would be welcomed.
