  • G.Skill FM-25S2S-100GBP1 and ACHI

    Hi to all
I have G.Skill FM-25S2S-100GBP1 MLC Sandforce MASTER 100G SATA 3Gb/s PHOENIX 2.5" Like master for the system operating.
    Also i have two WD Velociraptor 300GB WD3000HLFS MASTER SATA 3Gb/s 16MB-cache and WD2001FASS.

I have all disk without ACHI and i have configured the virtual memory activated.

My result with the SSD is this

My question is ... I must activate ACHI? ... I must disable virtual memory?

I use Windows 7 Ultimate with one mobo GA-X48T-DQ6 and 8 Gb of ram.

    My bet regard to All

EDIT: I have just the last Bios of my motherboard. I will update bios and to put ACHI in my Bios and i will format all my disk.
    My best regards vaca

EDIT2: I update my BIOS and I put the hardisk in ACHI mode and the perfomance is better.

    My best regards

    Dear Ranxerox,

    Thanks for your information.
According to official guide from sandforce, configuring your SATA as AHCI could make SSD run with higher performance.
