So i thought I would take the plunge and seperate the raid drives and use HDDerase to zero out the drives. I booted into dos and started up HDDerase. I get through the message saying they arent responsible for anything and then to the screen with the "Welcome to Secure Erase Freeware: Completely Erase your Disk Drive Version 3.3" and then nothing happens. Its not stuck, I can still ctrl, alt, del out and restart the computer. I went into the bios and changed SATA mode to IDE. Is there anything I am missing? Its an eVGA x59 classified motherboard.
