the main difference between the Falcon I and the Falcon II is that the original Falcon uses the faster Samsung flash memory chips while the Falcon II uses the Micron flash memory chips...Falcon II is slower but the price is cheaper so they are trying to bring a more affordable SSD line to the market with the Falcon II
