FM-25S2-115GBPE Stopped working without warning

Hi I got this SSD in my wifes laptop.

I was surfing the web, normally shut down, then 1hr later I wanted to start the Laptop again and the HDD LED is statically ON, BIOS does not recognize.

I tried in another PC with simillar result. My P5B-Deluxe even completely hangs in BIOS when it tries to recognize the SSD.

Iam really confused that the SSD died so suddenly after 1 year of easy usage (Windows 7, no encryption etc)

Is it worth sending it to G.SKILL? Can they try to recover the data? Or are there any SMD fuses on the PCB I can check? (I havent opened it up yet)

we are sorry to hear that you have issue with the SSD, base on the physical characteristics of the SSD, once the drive couldn't recognize by BIOS, all of the data couldn't be recoverd. please contact our RMA department and they will replace another one for you, sorry for the inconvenient!
