Re-Flash Firmware on mouse

I have a MX780 mouse that I just love. But, I think the firmware got scrambled. The LED's, refuse to turn off when the computer shuts down. I can turn them off in the software, and the mouse is plugged into the back of my KM780 keyboard. And the keyboard LED's shut off, so I know it isn't the USB port. So, I was thinking to just flash the mouse. But, I can not find the instructions, again. And yes, I tried a different USB port.
