  • Trident Z Lighting Control software has been updated to 1.00.31

The TZLC software has been updated to 1.00.31.

This update includes a critical fix to some situations where software conflicts may cause the module to no longer be detected. It should also resolve some software conflict issues causing the RGB to no longer be functional.

This version solved one problem and created a very big one:

Problem solved: system no longer crashes when loading RGB software and I can actually customize the lighting.

Problem created: two of my four modules now seem to be dead. I've moved them from one slot to another and the same two don't work no matter where they are and the other two work no matter where the are. It's hard to imagine that RGB software can kill my memory but installing the update was the only thing I did.

        Hey theNEOone

If the two modules now do not lighten up during the P.O.S.T. and can no longer be controlled even after switching slots, then a RMA is recommended.

Please also double check the software version, since your description fits the issue that was present with V1.00.30 and was resolved with V1.00.31. So make sure to update to the latest version before installing the replacement.

        Best Regards

Thanks - I believe I did have .30 installed and not .31. The website had the wrong version (really guys?!)

All is working now with .31, thankfully. I was still in the return window w/ Amazon, so I just exchanged my modules for new ones directly with Amazon.

You are right, the initial download link was wrong and only got fixed after the weekend. Sorry for your trouble!

            Best Regards
