I am getting idle temps of 42C, despite having very good air/water cooling. Hits 55C when gaming with the XMP profile enabled. Is this normal? Also, one stick, closest to the CPU is 2C higher than the one beside it. Do I have faulty RAM? My Corsair Dominators stayed under 40C with XMP 3200 enabled.

That is within specifications so there is no issue.
