  • UAC bug in new version Lighting Control

I just downloaded and installed the new version of Trident Z Lighting Control (v1.00.17). However, every time I log into Windows now, it asks me for my admin password, whereas the old version (v1.00.08) didn't need that. If I don't give my admin password, the utility doesn't start, and my LED preferences aren't applied.

Please fix this bug; it is very annoying.

One of the team members has already stated, that it is fixed in the next update coming later this week:

      I've posted a temporary workaround here https://www.gskill.us/forum/forum/pr...c-prompt-guide

Thanks for the heads up on the next update as well.

(Very nice workaround; unfortunatelly, I'm using a limited account, but good to know about this!)
