disabling ram led doesn't work!

Hello,
i downloaded g.skill trident lighting control and disabled led. It is pretty straight forward, there is nothing else. But it is turning on, after restart for some reason.

Btw is it true, if you install 2 led control programs, it can corrupt, or damage your ram ? Read that on reddit. Something like aura sync and this program at the same time for example. If that is true, that's kinda crazy. You have to be careful nowadays...

It has to be active ? I don't like having programs in background. I am gonna try aura sync yet.

Yes, unfortunately there is no independent controller so they can not function or control settings on their own.
