  • How to turn off RGB when PC enter sleep mode?

    Hi!

I just got my G.Skill Trident Z 3600 Mhz 32GB memory on my ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming motherboard. I was able to control the memory RGB lighting using the ASUS Armoury Crate software. And, I have set to turn off all the RGB LED when computer enter sleep. However, the G.Skill memory doesn't seem to turn off RGB light when in sleep. I was wondering if there is any way to turn off the RGB when sleep?

    Thanks!

No, active software is required for the effects to take place.

Can it turn off RGB automatically before going to sleep?

RGB lighting control is relinquished once OS is shut down so even if it is off before sleep, it will revert back to default rainbow mode because memory modules still get power when system is in sleep mode.

Hmm... That is not what I observed. Right now if I set the RAM RGB to a fixed pattern. It will remain the same pattern during sleep.
So the only workaround I have now is to manually turn off RAM RGB before sleep. Then turn back on after resume from sleep.
It will be great if the software can do this for me...
