  • F4-4400C19D-16GTZKK - PC shows different number

    Hi,

could someone explain to me following things?

    1)
CPU-Z and other applications (bios, HWmonitor, memtest) identifies my memory as F4-4400C19-8GTZKK while the label on physical memory contains F4-4400C19D-16GTZKK.
Is it OK? I understand that the "...D-16..." means that it is a bundle of two 8GB sticks tested for dual channel mode usage.

    2)
My motherboard ASUS TUF Gaming H570 Pro WiFi should be compatible (checked in ASUS QVL) with F4-4400C19D-16GTZKK (OK, they wrote ...GTZSKK but G.Skill has no such a model with the "S" in the middle in their webpages). The PC does not boot if XMP is enabled in BIOS, it works only after frequency change down to 4000MHz. Any idea why?

Thanks in advance for any info.

    1) CPUz is the model for each individual stick, not the entire kit. D is dual so when you see without letter it is model of module not the kit.

    2) What CPU do you have? Motherboard or CPU may be unable to reach full specifications. Do you have the latest BIOS?

We only have that motherboard rated up to DDR4-4000 so it seems like that limitation still stands.

Here is the QVL for the memory kit:

Only these motherboards have been validated with this particular memory model to be capable of full specifications with XMP Profile.

OK, thanks a lot for both parts of your answer.
It works on 4000MHz CL17 so it is comparable to 4400MHz CL19 and I am satisfied.
