  • F4-2400C17D-8GIS comptaible with a B460M DS3H and i5-10600K?

In the process of building 2 identical systems. A B460M DS3H motherboard an i5-10600K and some F4-2400C17D-8GIS memory. This issue I am having is that Newegg seems to n indicate that this memory has a XMP profile and reviews for the memory on Newegg mention XMP. Yet G.Skil specs do not show XMP. The major issue is that I having the system reboot all on its own during mundane tasks in Windows10 21H1. If I click on the Action Center lower right corner of the screen the system can reboot.

I am wondering whether it's memory or power supply. (using a EVGA 100-GD-0600-V1) the timings in the BIOS which is current for this motherboard does show 17-17-17-30 and 1.23v

Tried it with a 2nd EVGA 100-GD-0600-V1 PS and the system rebooted when I clicked on a link in MS Edge on Passmark's website!

XMP is not required for the specifications of this kit, that's why it is already running at full speed. The system is ready to go. XMP is only for specifications outside of the standard, say if the RAM was DDR4-2400 CL16 or DDR4-2400 CL13 1.35V.. These kits would default to DDR4-2133 CL15 or 2400 CL17 like yours is now, then with XMP enabled they can run at their rated spec. Some of the newer kits have the DDR4-2666 CL19 default, but any kit that is exactly DDR4-2666 CL19 1.20V will not have or require XMP Profile.
