  • issue with F4-3600C18D-64GTZR x2 (128gb) asus maximis xii hero core i9 10900k

    Hi there

    I bought 2 kits Trident Z RGB DDR4-3600MHz CL18-22-22-42 1.35V
    64GB (2x32GB) x2 (128gb)

and install it in Asus Maximus XII Hero with cpu Core i9 10900k.
about bios, i use latest version 0607 at the moment.

This kits from QVL list. Motherboard support this memory on full speed(3600Mhz).
but, when i went into bios and activated XMP mode 1 & 2 , the system went into a long reboot for ~45 seconds, after that system report about issue and run at 2133 speed.
When i choose standard mode, system run memory at 2666Mhz.
When i run one of kits(2x32Gb) xmp mode works fine at 3600Mhz.
Сurrently i'm using 2 kits(128gb) memory at frequency 3400Mhz (xmp mode and manual choose bootable 3400 speed memory.)

Please, help with it. What am I doing wrong and why it does not work correctly at full speed xmp at 3600Mhz?
    Thanks!

It is possible the two separate kits are unable to run at XMP specifications together in the system. Try a slightly higher DRAM Voltage to see if that can help improve stability.

Thanks for the advice. I try add voltage from 1.35 to 1.4V, Unfortunately, It did not help
Than i add voltage to SA/IO , for me its 1.2v and it helped!
      Thanks a lot!
