G-Skill Ripjaws Ram Crashes PC

I have one 8GB stick of G-Skill Ripjaws Ram. Ever since i got this pc it has crashed, Blue screen, freezes, random shutoffs, The worst thing is that sometimes the pc won't even start. My "fix" for this is to put the stick into a different slot. I really need help with this topic.

What motherboard and CPU do you have? Do you have the latest BIOS? Do you have it installed in the second slot away from CPU? If nothing seems to help, send it in for RMA exchange to see if a replacement can work better.
