  • ASRock X399 Taichi - 64GB (4 x 16GB) Samsung B Die Settings?

    Good Afternoon,

I've found this excellent thread about RAM tuning on the ASRock X399 Taichi motherboard.

Unfortunately, the settings that were shared in 2017 don't quite work as advertised on the latest (3.50) BIOS. I'm currently at 3133 for the RAM with this configuration but really would like to hit 3200 (I'm doing absolutely no CPU overclocking whatsoever):

CPU - AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X

    Motherboard - ASRock X399 Taichi (3.50 BIOS)

Videocard - MSI AERO ITX GeForce GTX 1070 (installed in PCIE slot 1)

RAM - G.SKILL Ripjaws V F4-3000C14Q-64GVK (4 x 16GB dual rank Samsung B Die quad channel kit. Installed in slots A2, B2, C2 and D2 and showing quad channel. Voltage set to 1.35V)

Case - Thermaltake View 71 Tempered Glass RGB Edition (2 x 140mm Riing intake fans at front of case, 1 x 140mm Riing exhaust fan at back of case)

CPU Cooler - Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3 (installed with 3mm offset to clear the videocard)

Exhaust Fans - 2 x Noctua NF-A14 PWM fans mounted at the top of the case

Intake Fan - 1 x Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM mounted to the bottom of the case

    Storage - ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro NVMe M.2 2280 1TB

Secondary Storage - some lame Hitachi 7200RPM SATA 1TB drive :-)

Power Supply - Corsair RMi Series RM1000i 1000W (configured with a single 12V rail)

Operating System - Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit (version 1903)

    Monitor - LG 27UD59-B 4K IPS

I've tried the Ryzen Memory Calculator and its corresponding guide, but I'm actually having far more issues going down that path. With that said, does anybody here have Samsung B Die Dual Rank memory (16GB sticks) running in a quad channel configuration (slots A2, B2, C2 and D2) at 3200 speed on the X399 Taichi (3.5 BIOS) with a Threadripper 1950X? If so, would you be so kind as to share all your timings, sub-timings, DRAM voltage, SOC voltage and procODT and RTT settings with me?

    Thank you for your support!
