  • Rampage Gene II with F3-12800CL9T2-24GBRL Settings

    Hello,
Rampage Gene II with F3-12800CL9T2-24GBRL Settings My CPU is the I7 920.
Looking for the best settings for this memory currently it is running at 1600MHZ but I wanted to see if its possible to OC more or if I am running with the best settings. I have the latest bios from Asus installed. Is it possible to run this at 1800MHZ? I replaced G.SKILL Perfect Storm 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Desktop Memory Model F3-16000CL8T-6GBPS never was able to get this kit to 2000MHZ. I haven't tried sense but I think the 24GBS is an improvement. Let me know if you think its an improvement over the 6GB kit.

Try it at 1866 10-10-10-26, 2T, DRAM Voltage 1.6, and raise QPI/VTT voltage + .1 - if that works and is stable could try tightening the timings but doubt if you'd see a difference

Thank you Tman!! I will give it a go tonight and report back. What should I start the QPi/VTT voltage at?

Good news tried these timings here DDR3-1866 9-10-9-28 1.65V. Running super smooth. The QPI vtt voltage is set to auto at this time and the CPU is overclocked to 3.7GHz the Ram is flying I might add!! If you would like I can post all my settings. Thanks for the help.
