    F3-12800CL9Q-16GBXL + ASRock Fatal1ty Z68 Professional Gen3 + Intel i5-3570K

    RAM is: F3-12800CL9Q-16GBXL
    MB: ASRock Fatal1ty Z68 Professional Gen3
    Processor: Intel i5-3570K

Getting error: 0x55 Memory not installed

This DDR3 shows up on the ASRock Memory compatibility list, so can't figure out why it's not working. I can plug in one pair or the other pair, and it will boot. But all four together, and it's a fail.

    https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fata...20Gen3/#Memory

Running the latest BIOS L2.26 from 2013/1/28 for "Improve memory compatibility."

In the BIOS it is set for "auto" option for "Load XMP Settings" and the "auto" option for "DRAM Frequency."

When I put only 2 of the modules in, the XMP seems to autoconfigure properly. BIOS DRAM Timing Configuration is set to XMP 1.2 Profile 1: DDR3-1600 9-9-9-24 1.50V

Seems to be detecting the correct timing when I put in a pair. It boots for me and runs fine.

But when I put all 4, I get the beeping and the 55 when I try to start it up.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Set tRFC to maximum value and see if that can work better.

Will four modules work at DDR3-1333?

You may also try to boost at bit the memory voltage, up to 1.565V this is the recommended higher level.
