  • F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR on a Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3

I am trying to use 2 sets of F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR on a GIGABYTE GA-990XA-UD3 with an AMD FX-8120 3.1ghz. when I adjusted some of the timing settings to match the given specs the board will not work. The memory functions on the board at 1333Mhz with the boards default settings. Can anyone assist me in getting the settings right to function at the full 1866Mhz?
here are the settings available for adjustment. (not the current settings)

Might want to start at 1600, just to get things stable and then try for 1866, there's a thread that should help here:

    http://www.gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=7688

for these sticks at 1600 might use 8-9-8-26 for timings

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

For voltages, DRAM Voltage 1.50V, CPU-NB Voltage +0.1V

Let me know how that works.

        Thanks

Thank you for replying so soon, sorry it took so long for me to come back, The settings provided made my computer completely unbootable. I was not even able to get to the bios until I cleared the cmos and started again
