  • Best 16GB Non-Overclocked DDR3 for Intel DZ77BH55K With i7-3770

I'm building a system using the Intel DZ77BH55K motherboard and Ivy Bridge i7-3770. I will not be overclocking, but want good performance. I need 16GB of DDR3. I will probably be using an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro V2 cooler in an Antec Solo II case.

I would like your official recommendation for the best 16GB memory. For example, if I can decrease the latency without decreasing the reliability, I may want to select lower-latency memory. Ideally you would give me several options. My number-one requirement is reliability. I would rather run at 1.5V than 1.65, but maybe you can explain the tradeoffs if necessary.

    Thanks!

If there's no downside (other than cost), I'll go with the CAS 7 "F3-12800CL7Q-16GBZM".

      Thanks!

One user reported a compatibility problem with this motherboard, so we are in the process of verifying. To be honest, the Intel motherboard should be avoided if possible. Aftermarket motherboards cost the same and they perform much better and reliable.
