Hi,

I am planning on building two new machines to run ESXi and want to fill them both with 32Gb. I am looking at the following ASRock Motherboard and G.Skill memory.

ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Motherboard
RipjawsX F3-10666CL9Q-32GBXL

I looked at the G.Skill page on this memory for compatibility and it only lists the Z68 Extreme4, not the Gen3 version. is the Gen3 version supported?

Yes, what CPU are you thinking, with one of the K models could kick up to 1600 sticks (or better)

I will use the i7-2600. Not the K version. K versions don't support VT-d which I need.

With that in mind is the memory I have selected a sound choice?
