Did you try memtest86 yet ? www.memtest.org has a little tool to make a usb key into a bootable memtest usb key. If rams don't give error on memtest then it can be cpu or cpu-nb having problems with 1800 speed.

I don't think having FX cpu unlocks more memory multi, 1600 and above is also O.C. for FX cpus. And it doesn't state memory limit on the Asus site. It actually stats some memory limits for certain cpu on some boards but not yours.

PS: Ah, i found something in the manual, *Due to different CPU margins, not all of AMD CPU can support up to DDR3 1600 and higher frequency DIMMs.

Problem might be coming from a low vCore voltage, considering the OC you have on the CPU, might try boosting it a bit to see if that helps.

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

I may have found a solution to the problem guys, and its really funny i overlooked this.

The whole time i was troubleshooting, i didnt even notice that the rams were in 1t command rate when in fact they were rated for 2t.

Ive been priming for 2hrs now without any problems, and i think my problem is solved. If anything does come up within the next 24hours while this puppy is priming, i'll let you guys know.

        Thanks a lot guys.

haha it happens, that's why always have to double check and pay attention to detail. One incorrect value can cause major headaches. Performance PC building for ya!

          Enjoy!

Follow up questions for my RAMS (Gskill Flare 1800 CL7, same as the link I posted above)

This kit is rated at 2T, but I noticed on some forums that they have their timings really tight at 1T. In my experience, even the stock settings 7-8-7-21 on 1T give me errors on prime. They pass SuperPi 32M, but fail prime95 on blend. It runs for only a few minutes, then give me rounding errors.

Could it have something to do with my settings? I have almost everything except the 7-8-7-24 on default.

It just depends on the kit, some can do 1T, some will be 2T.

The performance difference between 1T and 2T on an AMD platform is minimal.
Officially, AMD states that the FX lineup can support memory up to 1866MHz.
Both the Zambezi and Thuban CPU's have good IMC's, I can run 2100MHz+ with my 1090T and RipjawsX.
