I am trying to get 16gb of F3-10666CL7D-8GBXH ram to work on a 790FX-GD70. The 4GB sticks I'm using are working perfectly at 7-7-7-21 @ 1.5v when only using 2 of them for a total of 8GB. It's when I try to fill up all 4 dimm slots that I get a problem. The computer will boot with the recommended settings, but when I reboot, the system hangs and I have to power down then free up 2 dimm slots to be able to boot again. I read a post about the amd memory controller limitations and I'm unsure if that includes my motherboard, but it would not surprise me seeing as I'm having problems rebooting with 16GB. I've tried upping the voltage a little and still no luck. The highest I went was 1.54v. Will I have to lower my speed from 1333 mhz in order to use 4 dimms?
