Hey guys,
I'm sorry if this has been through the boards a few times. I've searched but could not find an answer that did it.
I am building a new x58 based system using the Gigabyte G1 Assassin motherboard and Intel 990X. I placed an order for g.skill F3-12800CL7Q-16GBXH ram the other day and only noticed after I ordered that it says it is "Designed Specifically for Intel Sandy Bridge CPUs and P67 Platforms"...
Would this still work with my new system, and do you see any foreseeable problems or performance let downs?
Thanks in advance guys!
