  • settings for F3-12800CL7D-4GBECO on GA-790FXTA-UD5

Model of the motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-790FXTA-UD5 f3i
    Model of the memory: 2x G.SKILL F3-12800CL7D-4GBECO (2Gx2)
Model of the CPU: AMD PHENOM II X4 965 BLACK Edition

i have trouble to run the system stable. different errors like abnormal programm terminations, BSOD (Memory Managment), CRC-errors in downloaded files. Checks with Memtest86+ v4.1 shows different adresses with errors

nothing oc'ed, tried different options in bios-settings like increase of NB-Voltage, DRAM-Voltage. sometimes runs mt without errors on 6GB but only for one or two days.

I need the timings and voltage settings to get this ram to work with 8GB in 1600-Mode.

    thanks for help

Did you set any settings manually in the BIOS? If not, try to use DDR3-1600 setting, 7-8-7 timings, with 2T command rate and 1.35V on the RAM. Also, increase CPU/NB voltage to 1.2V

    Good luck.

1.50V minimum, that's why this memory is not for AMD, but you may be able to get it stable.

        thanks, works fine

1,35 V on Ram was too low, memtest produces round about 6000 errors within first 5 seconds.
1,5V makes it. NB Voltage 1,2V and 1600MHz 7, 8, 7, 24, 2T, Memtest two times without errors, going on long test session

        thx a lot, great work
