  • Ga-p55a-ud3 + f3-17600cl7d-4gbpis

    Motherboard:
    GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD3 LGA 1156 Intel P55 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel

    Processor:
    Intel Core i5-760 Lynnfield 2.8GHz 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80605I5760

    Memory:
    G.SKILL PIS Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2200 (PC3 17600) Desktop Memory Model F3-17600CL7D-4GBPIS

    Problem:
Memory registers as running at 1333Mhz and timings 9-9-9-something. The motherboard says it runs DDR3 2200, so what do I need to do to make it run the memory at the proper speed? I tried going into the bios and changing it but after I changed it, it wouldn't boot. I'm assuming I need to adjust voltages, but I don't know where to start, which to change, how much, etc.

    Other info probably unrelated:
    EVGA GTX 470
    Win7 64bit
    2x Raid 0 WD 1 TB (boot)
1x WD 1 TB (storage / backup) Unraided

Thank you kindly to any who can lend assistance.

Set Extreme Memory Profile to Profile 1.

Then simply find the sufficient voltage for QPI/VTT Voltage. This voltage differs from CPU to CPU, so you will need to test to see what your CPU requires to be stable.

    Thank you
