  • Need help with settings of F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL

I have MSI Big Bang Trinergy and and using this nice set of GSkill memory (btw, I runed Memtest86+ for 8h to make sure there is no errors), by default the board is setting the memory voltage to 1,65v instead of 1,5v which is the memory default.
My question is, is that voltage safe for the memory and what is the maximum safe voltage that I can use, thank you in advance.

It does not need 1.65V, 1.50V is sufficient.

    Thank you

So if I keep it at 1600mhz with 1,5v the memory should be stable and safe, it that correct?

Yes, the memory specifications are on the memory and memory packaging. Notice the memory is rated for DDR3-1600 CL9 @ 1.50V.

        Thank you

1.65V if you are overclocking to DDR3-2000
