  • F3-16000CL9T-6GBRH with GA-EX58-UD4P

Hi there. I have try to adjust setting to at least RAM speed is 1800+ (or even 2000). But never able to do so.

    CPU : i7 920 (C0) @ 3.5 Ghz 1.325 V. (Stock Fan)
    MB : GA-EX58-UD4P BIOS F13
    RAM : F3-16000CL9T-6GBRH @ 1670 Mhz 1.64 V.
    Clock 167 Mhz
    rest Auto

If cannot at this speed what timing should I use for my RAM.

    Thank you.

The speed and timing is on the memory and memory packaging. In addition to those settings, you also have to set the QPI/VTT Voltage. This value may need 1.45V-1.60V for DDR3-2000; unfortunately it is different from CPU to CPU, which is why you will need to test for the lowest stable voltage.

Also, you have a C0 stepping CPU, so you may not even be able to reach DDR3-2000. C0 typically maxes out at DDR3-1800.

    Thank you
