I have bought this RIPJAWS for i3 -530 based on GA-H57M-USB3 motherboard's approved/verified memory list as well as friend's suggestion.

I am currently having major compatibility issues between DDR3 RAM Ripjaw F3-10666CL8D-4GBRM 1333-PC3P10666CL8 component and Gigabyte GA-H57M-USB3 mobo - with intel CPU i3-530 LGA 1156 running o/s windows 2008 server R2 64 bit.

HERE IS SET OF ISSUES - Issue no 1 and 2 has been resolved by my research and issue no 3 is my current problem. I have posted issue no 1 & 2 resolutions - as they were partially valid solutions to the initial problems.

Issue no 1: motherboard GA-H57M defaulated to 1333 with CL9-9-9-?? Settings - able to boot to bios ? but Windows will not install o/s freeze at logo ? corrupt installation files

Corrected ussue no 1: Changed the CL9 to CL8-8-8-8-21 (ram sticks referes to 24, but neweggs.com support stated to use 21 , instead, with SPD spped reduced to 1066 ? and also Disabled for No execute Mode Mem Protection = I was able to install Windows 2008 Server R2 o/s and run o/s for 5 hours no errors.

Issue no 2: Installed Hyper-V module in Windows 2008 r2 server and this requires to enable No execute Mode Mem Protection in BIOS. However, this resulted major freeze, destop video stopped working displaying past bios.

Correction of issue 2: reduced number of sticks from 2 to 1 ? I was able to to see the login and reinstall Windows 2008 server .

My CURRENT ISSUE 3: is result of Correction no 2 has temporarily worked ? a few hours ? then when I rebooted ? I am getting complete black screen ? I can not even get to see BIOS ? pressing del key is not openining BIOS.
If my observation is correct H57M BIOS ? G.Skill ? intel i3 embedded GPU is not getting along. If we can not find fault with intel CPU and Microsoft ? then the issue is between Gigabyte H57M and G. Skill. Newegg.ca has extensive list of users having similar issues ? therefore this seems to be a major issue to be resolved.
RipJaw does not state it is compatible with i3, however GA-H57M motherboard claims it is compatible at 1333 - Gigabyte has mislead me to buy G. Skills by claiming H57M is compatible with Ripjaws.

I also noticed Ripjaws quoted spec for voltage is 1.5V, but other memory modules use 1.6V. or should I reduce 1066 to 800 ? now we are going back in technology.
I am about to return G.Skill back to vendor or RMA ? I usually do not deal with forums ?

Although I was pleased to re-discover G.Skill brand, this will influence my future purchases as well as being an IT consultant I make decisions on my client?s hardware purchase decisions. I would appreciate your best honest support in resolving this,

    Thank you
    Mark

Without the same exact hardware to reproduce the error on our end, I can only suggest that you send them in for new replacements to see if that will fix your problem.

    Thank you
