    It may, but the "FA" "For Mac" memory is specifically tested on Apple systems.

    What's different about the "For Mac" memory?

    I have a macbook pro that uses DDR3-8500. What's the difference between the pc memory of that type ... say F3-8500CL7S-4GBSQ ... and the "For Mac" memory of the same type FA-8500CL7S-4GBSQ? The machine supports DDR3-8500 so it all should work right?
